As many of you know, I am back in the United States (for now), and it has been a hot hot hot summer so far in Charleston.
But I am writing this because we are happy to announce that the course we’ve been working on for almost a year now is finally available! It is called How to be a Successful Freelance Translator, and it can be accessed here: http://www.udemy.com/how-to-be-a-successful-freelance-translator/
In essence, these are the steps I took to build a career in freelance translation, including a bunch of mistakes and links and tips and tricks etc. etc. I realized there was no course out there that focused on the business set up and woes of freelance translation, and I hated to think that others would have to remake all the same mistakes I had made over the years.
So anyway, this should GREATLY simplify your process of earning a living through freelance translation, which can be a really nice gig once you have just a few steady clients. The issue is how to acquire those few, steady clients.
So please feel free to take a look, and, since this is a new course, if you have any advice or comments I would love to hear them. Also please do leave a rating, since these help me very much!
Not for you? Then do a friend a favor and share this with your pals who love languages, are good at translation and/or who might want to earn a living working for themselves.
